Meet Dr. Chan

Dr. Melissa Chan, M.D. completed her medical training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.  She has worked in both inpatient hospitals and outpatient clinics. Dr. Chan has practiced medicine on both coasts of the country and New Zealand. She enjoys bringing together eastern and western medicine to provide the best possible care for the patient as a whole.

I believe it is essential to spend enough time with each individual to establish a detailed symptom and health history and to talk about available treatment options. Through follow-up and medication management, we can work together to create therapies that really work for you.

Dr. Chan met Holly during her tenure at the hospital, where Holly quickly stood out as one of the most exceptional nurses. When it came time to build the dream team for Lotus Health, Holly was the first person who came to mind. Though hesitant at first to reach out, Dr. Chan couldn’t ignore the impact Holly had made in the local hospitals and her unwavering commitment to patient care.

In 2024, we’re proud to say that Holly accepted Dr. Chan’s invitation to join Lotus Health, bringing her wealth of expertise, compassionate approach, and dedication to excellence with her. Her decision to join marks a new chapter for our clinic as we continue to elevate the standard of care we provide to our community.

But there’s more to Holly than her impressive nursing career. She’s a devoted wife and mother of two beautiful children who k

eep her life full of joy and adventure. When she’s not making a difference in the lives of her patients, you’ll find Holly on the golf course, hitting home runs on the softball field, or enjoying quality time with her family. She’s also an avid reader who loves getting lost in a great book.
